This Christmas we want to provide support for the people who are on the frontline of this crisis. The people who are working in the camps, who are providing medical support and who are working round the clock to try and provide these refugees with some stability. This year our focus will be on fundraising as much money as possible to split between 3 charities:
- Kos Kindness
- Samos Volunteers
- Doctors of the World
We need as much help as we can get to raise as much money as we can! We have a £3,000 target and you can help us reach this in a number of different ways.
We want to run an online auction through November and beginning of December filled with prizes that would make perfect Christmas presents! Are you able to donate something to our auction or know someone who could? Please get in touch by emailing Olivia at email@example.com or sending us a message to our Facebook page!
Last year 7 local businesses acted as our sponsors. In doing this, they made a donation to the project and were promoted via our social media pages, on our website and on all marketing materials. If you are a local business or organisation and would be interested in sponsoring the project this year, we would love to hear from you. Please email Olivia at firstname.lastname@example.org to discuss a sponsorship package.
This year our focus is on fundraising. There will be a crowdfunding page set up in the coming weeks where people can donate but we also want to raise money and awareness this year. Could you hold a cake sale to raise money for our Christmas appeal? Can you run a raffle at a Christmas fair? Do you have any ideas of your own about fundraising for us? We want to hear all ideas and how we can support you! Please email Olivia at email@example.com and we can provide you with posters, leaflets and are happy to help you as much as possible in your fundraising for us!
If you have any other ideas about how you might be able to help us achieve our goal this Christmas, please do not hesitate to get in touch! We are open to any suggestions and would love to discuss them with you! We really hope you can help us in one way or another and be a part of a successful 2016 appeal!
